I have reproduced the problem with backported kernel 5.18.2-1~bpo11+1 from package linux-image-5.18.0-0.bpo.1-amd64

It's not so easy to reproduce. I have been working on it all day, and it only froze by the end of the day when I left it idle for a couple of minutes.
