Bug#1043404: Acknowledgement (with linux 6.4.4 mariadbd is at 100% wait for one cpu)

Hello,

I have the same problem again but this time with kernel linux-image-6.5.0-1-amd64 6.5.3-1

uname -a gives
Linux 6.5.0-1-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Debian 6.5.3-1 (2023-09-13) x86_64 GNU/Linux

This time, no need to run any particular services, the server is a fresh install with no added packages (no mariadb running). In a top, i can see this, the process which uses cpu is scsi_eh_1.

%Cpu0 : 0.0 us, 2.7 sy, 0.0 ni, 0.0 id, 97.3 wa, 0.0 hi, 0.0 si, 0.0 st %Cpu1 : 0.3 us, 0.3 sy, 0.0 ni, 68.1 id, 30.9 wa, 0.0 hi, 0.3 si, 0.0 st
MiB Mem : 3913.1 total, 3643.2 free, 323.7 used, 127.2 buff/cache
MiB Swap: 976.0 total, 976.0 free, 0.0 used. 3589.3 avail Mem

PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 170 root 20 0 0 0 0 D 67.4 0.0 3:18.88 scsi_eh_1

This appears just after a reboot, there are no running commands writing to disk.

When I reboot on the previous kernel (linux-image-6.4.0-4-amd64 6.4.13-1), I don't have the same issue. I have this problem on several servers, but I am not sure this is the same issue than my firt report. A google search with scsi_eh_1 high cpu use shows this bug for example
