Yup.

This would be doing a copy to a disk, replacing the corrupted file, mounting
and installing from that partition, rather than installing from the CD. OK.

The vendor I placed an order with on August 8th, and who's
order system decided that "debian" ment "gentoo", sent me
a cheery note that my order was sent August 24th. The clue
density at TuxCDs.com appears negative (sample size of one).
