Re: Debian-Lex Rebirth? - python/perl/php?

Nevermind, DRZ, I do not agree with you that this is not productive. Think it
is an item the list is not yet ready to recognize. The subject will present
itself again on the way. Will start testing software on the list
the moment I have my laptop back again from the repairman. I also have planned
to make a lexefied live CD. Depending on other work it can be done in a couple
of months.

Do not fool the lawyer. 'will it work' is not enough. Windows 'works'
but it is unsafe. With this attitude the lawyer does not take care
of the data in the way it should. Think also about liability and the
special (legal) obligations lawyers have regarding data. Also think
about government's who want to screen and store all communications
these days. As a lawyer you not only want software that works, you
also want to treat your clients information with the best care possible.
good arguments, yes, but are we in the position to ask this question, facing a
hundred python programmers, that are willingly waiting for our commands???

I think the stage were at, we have to evaluate the software thats existing.

So please stop this! and get real! Use your energy for something thats
productive. This is not.
