semi-automatical, sort of.
copy /usr/share/templates/syslinux into config/templates/syslinux, and
edit the files in there to your likeing. if you look at the files,
you'll see what you'll have to adapt.
after squeeze, syslinux customization will change and we'll document
these things then, until then, you're on your own unfortunately (but
it's not hard to do it, so don't worry).
