Re: changing hostname from debian to something else in live installation



Hello.

Hopefully in the "better late than never category", you can accomplish
this by placing directives in a
"includes.chroot/etc/live/config.conf.d/custom.conf" (you can call
"custom.conf" anything you want as long as it ends in .conf) with
contents as follows:

  LIVE_HOSTNAME=your-custom-name
  LIVE_USERNAME=user
  LIVE_USER_FULLNAME="user"
