New task: psychology; new tasks pages (Was: Bug#532111: ITP: psychopy -- module for creating psychology stimuli in Python)

Hi,

I would like to announce new tasks pages for Debian Med (for
those who read the Debian Blends mailing list it is related
to [1]) which show several new features and more exact information
about available versions etc. These pages are not yet available
at the official alioth pages because one formatting issue is
left but you might perhaps like to have a view at

    http://debian-med.debian.net/tasks/

Frequent visitors of this page might notice that there is a
new section: Psychology. The ITP below just raised my interest
and I realised that we actually have a psychology related
package since Etch - obviosely perfectly hidden from our
Debian Med radar.

Yaroslav, I have no idea who actually belongs to the Experimental
Psychology Maintainers <pkg-exppsy-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org>
group but I would warmly welcome you all on the Debian Med list.
In case you are only a view people you might consider joining
the Debian Med packaging team which might be a stronger backbone
in case your packages might need some work once you are on
vacation or whatever.

I'm also interested in feedback for the metapackage description
I quickly invented for a future med-psychology package (which
is displayed as text for the Psycholgy task). Any hint is welcome.

Kind regards and thanks for working on psychology related packages
in Debian

     Andreas.

* Package name    : psychopy
  Version : 1.00.02
Upstream Author : Jon Peirce <jon@peirce.org.uk>
* URL             : http://www.psychopy.org/

  Programming Lang: C, Python
Description : module for creating psychology stimuli in Python

PsychoPy combines the graphical strengths of OpenGL with the easy
Python syntax to give psychophysics a free and simple stimulus presentation
and control package.

The goal is to provide, for the busy scientist, tools to control
timing and windowing and a simple set of pre-packaged stimuli and methods.

Features
 - Simple, clean syntax (see the demo code)
 - Simple (or complex) GUIs via wxPython
 - Easy interfaces to joysticks, mice, keyboards
 - Easy interface to parallel and serial ports
 - Unicode text rendering in any TrueType font
 - Multi-monitor support (and multiple windows)
 - Plays movies (mpg, DivX, avi, QuickTime...) as stimuli
 - All stimuli rendered in realtime (so can be modified in realtime too)
 - Simple routines for staircase and constant stimuli experimental
methods as well as curve-fitting and bootstrapping
 - Integration with CRS Bits++(for 14bit luminance resolution)
 - Integration with Spectrascan PR650 for easy monitor calibration
