After I removed the config dir, the error went awayThat sounds like quite bad design, the binary shouldn't default copy values from the binary into ~/.gnujump/ because they could be wrong if you switch from the distro version to a self-compiled version and vice-versa. Personally I would say it should not write a config file at all unless you make changes from the default using the GUI.
