The libamp11lib.so library is optional. It is responsible for playing MP3 files. MP3 files were only in the very first CD edition of the First Encounter. The Second Encounter CD, Gold CD version, GOG and Steam versions use only the OGG format. Therefore, if hardening-no-fortify-functions is critical, then the library can simply be excluded. The libamp11lib.so is simply optional.
