Hi, i was trying to upgrade on of my Indys to 2.6 instrad 2.4 and cant find a working debian kernel for the 100MHz R4000k. The 2.6.22-3-r4k-ip22 crashes on boot (see #448488) and the 2.6.18 variants from etch, lenny and sid stop right after the Starting ELF64 kernel Its absolute silence on the serial console. The machine is not even able to recover with a serial break. I am now back to a tftp booted 2.4.25-r4k-ip22 reconfig:~# cat /proc/cpuinfo system type : SGI Indy processor : 0 cpu model : R4000SC V3.0 FPU V0.0 BogoMIPS : 49.86 byteorder : big endian wait instruction : no microsecond timers : yes tlb_entries : 48 extra interrupt vector : no hardware watchpoint : yes VCED exceptions : 277324 VCEI exceptions : 15688 Flo -- Florian Lohoff flo@rfc822.org +49-171-2280134 Those who would give up a little freedom to get a little security shall soon have neither - Benjamin Franklin
