The talk about Debian on mobile from DebConf20 makes it clear that
this is possible. Voice over LTE isn't working yet though. It is
talking about the Purism Librem hardware and the PinePhone rather than
Huawei hardware though. It sounds like if someone were to add support
for the Huawei modem to ModemManager then this could be made to work
on Huawei phones too.
