Dear Maintainer,
loading and running VST is an important part of a music software, unfortunately
it seems impossible on the 64-bit version of LMMS due to architecture
incompatibility between the software and the plug-in provided by the package
lmms-vst-server, which just wouldn't show up in LLMS.
An incompatibility I wasn't initially aware off and online search only had
everyone recommending to use the appimage version.
Uninstalling the amd64 version and installing the i386 allowed both LMMS and
the VeSTige plug-in to work properly. I don't think most amd64 users people
think of that.
Until a amd64 compatible plug-in is released you might want to add a note to
lmms-vst-server's package description that it isn't compatible with lmms:amd64
and VST support is only available for lmms:i386 .
