Well, I'm a dd myself, and yes, I was planning to upload it to Debian.
But I guess that given current timetable for freeze, it will be better
to include it after it, since probably I'm not going to have time to
test it extensively (except that somebody helps, of course).

If you feel like that, I have no problem in upload it to allioth, I'll
have a look at the project.
