And guess what? This already was reassigned to icu. Can you please check
facts?
You might want to get the ICU maintainer to do something for it if you think it
should be fixed ASAP/in squeeze.

Ah, really? We don't do anything special, we just use a newer version.

Because it uses a older ICU internally.
What a surprise given what we (and RedHat) already found out.

Nonsense. If there's a RH bug for that it's also a case there obviously,
and they probably also use a newer ICU.
That only builds using newer ICU exhibit this problem doesn't make it a
Debian-only bug.
