Bug#762802: hunspell: Please include patch for bug when using with Emacs
Package: hunspell
Version: 1.3.3-2rrt1
Severity: normal
Tags: patch
See here for the bug report and patch: http://debbugs.gnu.org/cgi/bugreport.cgi?bug=7781
I have tested the patch with the latest version of the Debian package
(1.3.3-2 at the time of writing). I simply added it to the patch series and
rebuilt the package: it applied cleanly, all the tests passed, and it fixed
the bug. Debian Emacs users would be most grateful for this patch to be
included!
I have also highlighted the patch upstream, and written to the upstream
maintainer, but the report (with patch) has been there for some years, so
I’m not optimistic that it will be fixed soon, even though ispell seems to
have fairly frequent releases.
