Which Import button? There is none afaics.
There's a "Get more templates for LibreOffice" one. Do you mean that?
(There's a explicitely labelled "Import..." button in 5.2.x, though)

neither with 1:5.1.4~rc2-2~bpo8+1 from jessie-backports and neither with
1:5.1.5~rc1-1 (and thus I assume 1:5.1.4~rc2-2 - the "base version" of the
backport - also is not affected)

In 5.1.x I see that it opens a browser... Does that work?

In 5.2.x it opens a dialogue to select a category and then the file picker.

I can't reproduce this there (1:5.2.0~rc3-1) either.
