this is exactly where the package description is misleading: It does not
only install "all components of libreoffice" but also additional packages
in order to match an upstream install as closely as possible.

I see. Considering that the meta-package now installs the
fonts-crosextra-* fonts, maybe it is a good idea to add fonts-croscore as
an alternative to the fonts-liberation dependency, so the substitution
fonts' appearances will properly match.
Is there any place where one can review the list of extra components added
by a libreoffice upstream install?
