Can't people please stop just responding to this bug report? This bug report is from Mar 2016
was never reproducible. Maybe it has to do with your processor (there have been reports that
it works on some processors and maybe on not, that would make it some instruction emitted by
gcc maybe not working), but this is most probably not the case here either:

Your case "crashes when it starts" definitely is not what the original submitter posted.

Given you use i386 it's probably the known Java stack clash regression (see
