Bug#927426: libreoffice-common: data loss because AutoRecovery information is stored in /tmp
Package: libreoffice-common
Version: 1:6.1.5-3
Severity: normal
LibreOffice saves its AutoRecovery information in its "Temporary files" path
which is in Debian per default "/tmp".
This leads to data loss when the system crashes or has a power outage
because
/tmp in Debian is deleted at every reboot.
(This is not just a theoretical possibility but our users already run into
exactly this situation.)
Therefore, the default value for the "Temporary files" path of LibreOffice
should be something persistent, e.g.
~/.config/libreoffice/4/user/tmp
Thanks
Ronny
