So I guess the possibilites are:

* do a sourceful upload with -sa
I tried getting the source tarball from the debian archive and I will
rebuild that way for this time. I guess that I generally like to go for
the original upstream though.
Sounds reasonable.
On the other hand until now I've always used the .orig.tar.gz from
the archive if I only make a new Debian version (because I need the
other parts of the source package anyway and because this "continues"
what is already there and the changes only affect the .diff.gz) -
should I change? And what is the best way (just like in this case) to
handle differences in the tarball?
I have rebuilt and uploaded.
Thanks again!
