Someone from the Perl team just made me aware that I mixed things up
and the relevant deadline is not 5th of January but 5th of February.
(There's a soft freeze on 5th of Jan. but that doesn't affect new
upstream versions, just completely new packages which weren't in
Debian at all yet.)
