 Hi all, I've managed to get the palm to talk to my computer. 
pilot-xfer works fine for users. However, gnome-pilot can't detect the palm during
setup. I've tried using /dev/pilot and /dev/usb/ttyUSB0 (its port -
through which xfer works), but no luck yet. I get to the stage where it
says "put it in and press HotSync" and nothing happens. The hotsync
eeventually times out on the palm. Basically, I'd like to sync the palm
to my mail client/calendar/memo thingie - Evolution. 

Any thoughts about how to fix/work around this?
