Version: 1.4.5-2
Severity: normal

Hello!

At http://localhost:631/printers/LaserJet1018, I see a drop-down list
"Обслуживание" (Maintenance). It has the following options:

When choosing print-self-test-page, I get:

Неподдерживаемый формат «application/vnd.cups-command»!
(Unsupported format «application/vnd.cups-command»!)

Also, the translations for print-test-page and print-self-test-page are
largely confusing. In Russian, "Печать пробной страницы" (Print test
page) and "Печать пробной страницы принтера" (Print printer test page)
basically mean the same. That lead me into thinking that my printer
wasn't working at all, while in reality everything except
print-self-test-page was actually working.

Unfortunately, I cannot propose better translation for
print-self-test-page as I don't know what it is supposed to do ;-)

I'm ready to provide needed additional info,
Andrey Paramonov

Dear Debian User,

Futher information on your issue was asked for some months ago but there
has been no response to the request. Use of our limited, volunteer
supported resources is best served by not keeping around inactive bugs
for longer than desirable, so the report is now being closed.

You may, of course, wish to review the reported problem. It would be
appreciated if any future investigation could be conducted using the
testing or unstable distributions. If considered necessary, a new bug
report, possibly referencing this one, would be submitted. Please note
there are now separate cups and cups-filters packages.

Thank you for your report.

Regards,

Brian.
