Bug#723712: ghostscript: /etc/mailcap for ps2txt
Package: ghostscript
Version: 9.05~dfsg-8
Severity: wishlist
This is an idea for an /etc/mailcap entry for ps2txt. It would allow
run-mailcap --action=cat foo.ps
to give a text rendition of foo.ps by ps2txt. This is similar to what
various html to text renderers have.
I get some joy from the line of debian/ghostscript.mime below which
dh_installmime can copy to /usr/lib/mime/packages/ghostcript
application/postscript; /usr/bin/ps2txt '%s'; copiousoutput; description=Postscript; priority=0
