Package: nedit
Version: 1:5.3-1
Severity: normal

-- System Information:
Debian Release: testing/unstable
Architecture: powerpc
Kernel: Linux miles 2.4.21 #1 Mon Aug 4 04:47:57 EST 2003 ppc
Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (ignored: LC_ALL set to POSIX)

Versions of packages nedit depends on:
ii libc6 2.3.2-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an
ii xlibs 4.2.1-11 X Window System client libraries

-- no debconf information

I have just started using Tom Lord's Arch revisions control system. Arch
stores some data in a directory named "{arch}". After editing a file in
this directory, openning the next file will cause nedit to delete the
current .neditdb file and report the above error.
