There are no instructions for how one can see a quick demo of what
tapiir does. E.g.,
$ alsaplayer x.mp3&
$ cd /usr/share/doc/tapiir/examples
$ tapiir --alsa ...
....

To bad one can't load files from the command line when starting.

Also, the white on black labels in tapiir are very hard to read on my
monitor.  They are almost all black.

The tapiir package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/352539 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.
