I've contacted Chris, he would be happy if someone would take over the package
because it turned out that he doesn't have the time to work on it. I've sent
your the corresponding communication in CC.

Meanwhile I've build a package, that fixes #641227 and uploaded it to mentors.

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:
