Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
Tried to configure open weather extension for UK standard barometric pressure
unit of millibars, as used in public weather forecasts.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
Enabled the extension. Opened it from the tile bar. Noted that it used the US
unit of inches of mercury. Selected the settings option and units tab and
tried to select mbar.
* What was the outcome of this action?
There was no mbar unit. The closest was Bar, but to the, default, 1 decimal
place precision, this is not sufficient. Pa (pascal) gives the right precision,
but gives the decimal point in the wrong place.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
The menu to include a mbar, or millibar option, which reported numbers with
values close to 1,000.
I checked the upstream on GitLab, and this did include a mbar option, in
extension.js, as enumeration 10. I looked at the same file in Debian, and the
last entry was enumeration 9.
It is fairly clear from the source code that the internal reprsentation is in
millibars!
