(Closes: #903981). A systemd service file can have multiple triggers. Being started by a timer is one, being started during boot via a target is another. There is nothing wrong in particular with having anacron triggered during boot, and this simply increases the chances that the cron jobs are started. Be aware, that the package also ships a cron job and sysv init script for the users which opt to use sysvinit-core and the init script *is* enabled during boot. For consistencies sake, I would keep the anacron.service enabled via multi-user.target as well. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
