Hrm.

I noticed it was newly added compared to the old version, but figured it
was a good thing as an earlier version *attempted* to add it, apparently
unsuccessfully...

Indeed, that sounds like a simple fix, since it has not shipped the file
for quite some time.

Removal sounds like a reasonable fix as well, although there are a
handful of reverse dependencies of various forms:
