Hi,

the fusesmb Debian is shipping is at least 13 years old. I wonder how
useful that is, i.e. if it works with modern SMB servers.
Also, by now we have a great SMB filesystem driver in the kernel.

So, should Debian continue shipping this?

I do not think so, but have opened this bug so interested parties can
chime in here.

If nothing happens, I'll ask for removal sooner or later.

unstable we hereby close the associated bug reports.  We are sorry
