Some fonts on Google Fonts do not have a `FONTLOG.txt`. `fakeupstream.cgi` currently generates a 500 error when it scrapes such fonts.

Example of font without `FONTLOG.txt`: <https://github.com/google/fonts/tree/main/ofl/kristi>.

For such fonts one can get a date (i.e. version number) from `METADATA.pb`.

Merged, the service should auto-update to the new code.
