Package: kmail
Version: 4:4.3.4-2
Severity: important

On pressing the 'New' button, or Ctrl+N kmail crashes.

This does not happen on my netbook, which is also running sid (i386).

I have also reported this bug upstream see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=225847
for a backtrace.

Yours,
Gerrit Jan.

Hi,

> I'm not sure why, but todays upgrade solved the problem

kmail didn't change between the two reports, so the issue was probably in a
dependency, it could be due to many different things (a hidden abi breakage, a
previously hidden bug been triggered, etc), I'm closing the issue as its fixed
in a version older than oldstable.

Happy hacking,
