Bug#918512: kwayland-integration incorrectly depends on qtwayland5
Package: kwayland-integration
Version: 5.13.4-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
kwayland-integration depends on qtwayland5. This package depends on both Qt's client and compositor API. It absolutely makes no sense that a Wayland *client* integration plugin depends on a compositor API. In fact kwayland-integration does not depend at all on qtwayland.
To a certain degree one could argue that it should runtime depend on the qpa platform plugin, but it's rather the other way around. If an application uses the wayland qpa, kwayland-integration can be used.
