Dear Maintainer,

The problem should be well known, e.g. it has been reported here over the years:
- https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419302

It has nothing to do with the underlying file system, here XFS.

It doesn't matter how often baloo's database is reset and
re-indexed, after a short time the duplicates will multiply
miraculously.

An example, after re-setting up the database yesterday evening using
"balooctl" I am already getting three (3) duplicate results this
morning on a directory and all "found" files.

In addition, the frontend, the file manager Dolphin, displays
results that were excluded using "excludeFolders".

I assumed Baloo was an integral part of KDE/Plasma, contrary to the
working Recoll, or did I misunderstand?

Or is the problem with my computer, because such problems over such
a long period of time would be noticed by the developers and
administrators who all work with it, right?

And while I'm here, krunner, the other GUI for Baloo, truncates the
filenames to fit /nicely into the picture/. The user is supposed to
guess?

I know you guys from the package management are not responsible for
the development, but maybe there is a possibility to mark such
packages as toy or experimental?
