As of some of you already know (those of you who are on IRC), a problem has been discovered on libusb, which only affect the ARM architecture. It is a memory alignement problem (__packed was forgotten on some structures). After some discussions on IRC with the release team, it was decided to fix the problem by fixing libusb and then doing ARM binaries NMU for the affected packages. Currently the following packages have been rebuilt and uploaded: - ccid - gnupg - ifp-line - libgphoto2 - libifp - openct - pencam - rioutil - sane-backends-extras - usbutils The next step is to rebuild the following packages, but I am waiting for some packages to be installed in the debussy sid chroot: - gnupg2 - hpoj - libhid - libnjb - lirc - nut - sane-backends Then the last one would be libchipcard2, but it is not possible to do a binary NMU, as it would make the package uninstallable (-dev package is a binary all package). A new upload has to be done. Please also note that the others packages that are depending on libusb are not affected by the problem as they don't use the affected structures. Last but not least, I made a mistake when uploading the new version of libusb, I left the urgency set to low. Would it be possible to bump it to medium or even high? Thanks in advance.
