Hmm, though it's also become clear that the project is dead upstream
anyway - I don't think the above rationale is sufficient to keep it in
stable for another $n years given the low number of users. So it can
be removed from jessie after all, I think.

Sorry for the late change of mind.

(In other news, I am about to upload anope, the current recommended
services daemon for ircd-hybrid these days, to NEW).
