I have been going through transition requests but I have missed this because
there isn't a bug report. Opening one now.

Going through 3.6 first is fine. Have you done a test rebuild for the rdeps? I
have created a tracker, does it look good?

The only remaining package still using llvm 3.5 is ghc. But let's track this in
the 3.8 transition bug, #832098.
