Dear Maintainer,

After an update in the last weeks / months, it is no longer possible for us to use x2go.

x2go client perspective:
The x2go client connects successfully and the authentication is positive. But then there is a pop-up window with the message "The connection with the remote server was shut down. Please check the state of your network connection.". More does not happen here anymore.

x2goserver host perspective:
In the logs I can see a successful authentication via ssh and the x2goserver also starts working. x2goserver also creates data in the home directory. But then something does not seem to be right. No display could be opened. Please see the attached logs.

The rdesktop command which is executed by /usr/bin/x2goruncommand, i can also run myself (manually on the remote Shell with using X11 forwarding). Then everything works and the Windows login shows up, for example.

Thank you in advance for all your suggestions and help.

I am currently trying to get some issues in X2Go Server in Debian fixed before the Debian 12 release. Is the above still an issue for you? Or was it a temporary flaw/situation?

Mike
