I have talked to both Jeff and Duck and I don't think it's wise to do
that, it's not that unmaintained. I've been asked to write a class
for CDBS 2 as well and will start working on that soon.
I can bundle the class either with each package, maybe let it be
included in ruby-dev or create a ruby-pkg-tools package.
