Subject: Thank you!

Hi Praveen

I just took the time to finally upgrade our old and insecure GitLab instance
from the now removed version in stable to the recent version in your private
repository for buster.

I followed the upgrade path you outlined on https://wiki.debian.org/gitlab via
stretch-backports. Everything worked like a charm. I had to cleanup some old
hacks after the upgrade to stretch-backports, but that was my own fault :-)

So I want to send you a big THANK YOU for the great work on this difficult
package and all the energy you invest into providing us with an even nicer
solution in the future.

Let me know if I can help in these efforts, with sending a field report or
with upgrading our system again. (And feel free to forward this message to
anybody you think should read it.)

best wishes
Nicola

That is lovely! :D
Thank you for bringing in and maintaining GitLab in Debian.
It, for sure, is a complex package but kudos to you, Sruthi, Abhijith, and others for keeping it in such a shape!

Best,
Utkarsh
