Howto make HTML from Docbook-XML?

Hi,

while I was able to produce HTML from Docbook-SGML using
db2html from the package cygnus-stylesheets, I got 200 error
messages when I tried it on the file
/usr/share/doc/docbook-xml/examples/test-4.1.2.xml:

TMPDIR is DBTOHTML_OUTPUT_DIR18686
Using stylesheet: "/usr/lib/sgml/stylesheet/dsssl/docbook/cygnus/cygnus-both.dsl"
working on ../test-4.1.2.xml
jade:/usr/share/sgml/docbook/dtd/xml/4.1/docbookx.dtd:74:17:E: "X20AC" is not a function name
jade:/usr/share/sgml/entities/xml-iso-entities-8879.1986/ISOamsa.ent:6:19:E: "X21B6" is not a function name

jade:/usr/share/sgml/entities/xml-iso-entities-8879.1986/ISOamsa.ent:11:18:E: "X21C2" is not a function name

...and so on.

I tried also openjade, but without success.

Is DSSSL outdated and I should use XSL? The stylesheets
seem to produce always one large HTML file from a book
or article, while I would prefer the way db2html handles
it. Is there a trick, how to do this?

If I have to use XSL, which XSLT processor in Debian is
suitable for the docbook-xsl-stylesheets? I tried xsltproc,
which worked fine, but maybe another is better/faster/
whatever?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Cheers,
