we have unused machines...
hi,
i'm a sysadmin in the rovira i virgili university (tarragona, spain). we
have a couple of unused ultrasparc2 that may be of interest for the
debian project. please could you tell me the requirements to donate
these machines to debian:
* should the machines be sent to somewhere? who pay the packing and
the shipping?
* can the machines stay here at the university but administered
remotely by debian developers?
* other possibility...?
once you tell me what should/could be done, i'll tell my boss. in any
case, the most factible/viable solution for us (-->my boss) is anything
that costs us 0$.
please, if you're interested, tell me so since there's a possibility to
have to make some space clean in the storeroom.
