Bug#179423: installation-reports: debian-installer net image from CVS does not fit on a floppy
* Joost van Baal
| # vi /etc/fstab ( as noted in build/Makefile )
| % vi Makefile ( uncomment USER_MOUNT_HACK )
| % fakeroot make floppy_image
|
| ...
| cp dest/net-initrd.gz `pwd`/mnt//initrd.gz
| cp: writing `/home/joostvb/cvs/cvs.debian.org/debian-boot/debian-installer/build/mnt//initrd.gz': No space left on device
| make: *** [dest/net-1440.img] Error 1
|
| BTW, just dd-ing the borken .img to fd0 does give a bootable floppy.
| It's not of much use, though.
|
| Hope this is of any use to you, and thanks for working on
| debian-installer: it looks quite promissing!
Do you have the necessary -pic libraries installed? It sounds like
mklibs isn't reducing as much as it should.
