secure apt

I recently upgraded testing and receive the new apt (version 0.6.41). I have not been able to get it to stop nagging.

"apt-key add /usr/share/apt/debian-archive.gpg"
but that returns
"gpg: no ultimately trusted keys found
OK"

"apt-key update" returns
"ERROR: Can't find the archive-keyring
Is the debian-keyring package installed?"

I have debian-keyring installed.

Also, should the "-y" switch in aptitude skip past the security nag?
