Cant we get rid of all that fscking spam on debian mailing lists?

Hi, im a pretty regular reader of alot of the lists at debian.org and im 
getting seriously tired of all the spam mails..
Couldnt we require a registration or something to be able to mail to 
lists.debian.org lists?
Like digital signature or something? just ANYTHING to get rid of the 
spam noise?
(now im the one making noise, i know, sorry for that, but needed to get 
fustrations out)
