It looks like I've only got beaker from the stable distribution which
is version 0.6.1-1. Running dpkg -i get the following:

dpkg -i python-beaker_0.9.5-1_all.deb
(Reading database ... 46535 files and directories currently installed.)

python-beaker_0.9.5-1_all.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement python-beaker ...

 python-beaker depends on python (>= 2.5); however:

 python-beaker depends on python-support (>= 0.7.1); however:
  Version of python-support on system is 0.5.6.

 dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Errors were encountered while processing:
 python-beaker

This is particularly strange as the apt error references Beaker-0.9.4.
