It works fine iff you have PK bitmap versions of your PostScript
Type 1 fonts available (or can make them). That works fine for
some fonts, but not at all for others (for example,
multiple-master fonts and xdvi don't play well together at all).
That said, it would probably be good to use the Blue Sky/AMS/Y&Y
PostScript fonts by default, because they're well supported by
xdvi, and it's nice to save people from the horrors of bitmap
fonts whenever possible.
