Package: tetex-nonfree
Version: N/A
Severity: grave

Tetex-nonfree is visible on the Debian web pages,
for example, http://packages.debian.org/stable/tex/tetex-nonfree.html .
However, apt-get can't get it:

gpklinux:/home/gpk# apt-get install tetex-nonfree
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Package tetex-nonfree has no available version, but exists in the database.
This typically means that the package was mentioned in a dependency and
never uploaded, has been obsoleted or is not available with the contents
of sources.list
However the following packages replace it:
  tetex-extra tetex-doc tetex-base
E: Package tetex-nonfree has no installation candidate
  gpklinux:/home/gpk#

BTW: I have no clue what the phrase "or is not available with the contents
of sources.list" means.

Look at [1]: tetex-nonfree is only available in stable. Your
/etc/apt/sources.list seems to contain only woody/testing and/or
sid/unstable entries.

I close this bug.
