Not until now :->

I have also useed find to seek for updmap.* files.
/var/lib/texmf/web2c/updmap.cfg
/usr/share/man/man1/updmap.1.gz
/usr/share/texmf/web2c/updmap.cfg
/usr/share/tetex-base/updmap.cfg

dlocate does not seem to care for usr/share/texmf/web2c/updmap.cfg.

It is always ssh -l root localhost save in very extreme circumstances.
